Electronic music isn't an just an interest, it's a lifestyle.

That's precisely what made us create Sweat On The Walls. After accidentally acquiring some old electro records years ago while we were still at school, our interest quickly manifested into a passion. This passion became an obsession before we knew it as all our time and money was spent on the cause as we dug deeper into the vast, fascinating world of electronic music. We eventually admitted that our involvement had gone beyond that of regular followers of any musical subculture, and that it had more or less taken over our lives.

That is when SOTW was born. A place where we can share this lifestyle with others that share it, because we know there are many that do. This isn't just a blog, we want it to be a place where people like ourselves look because they enjoy our writing and like the music we post. We will strive not to disappoint.

So, what music do we like?
The majority of what we post will be within the broad confines of techno and house, but expect regular electro updates too. It may not take centre stage anymore but our roots are in electro, so our love for the scene remains. This also includes some electronica and even the odd morsel of synth/electro pop here and there.

So that's us and what we stand for, we hope you like it and that you will tell the rest of our fellow ravers and minimal freaks about us if you do.
