Chemical Brothers - Dissolve (The Bloody Beetroots Remix)

The latest remix from the infamous Italian duo. They've been quite quiet recently, which for them is quite unusual.

Anyhoe I'm glad Sir Bob has taken a break from his side project with Steve Aoki to remix this little gem. Easily my favourite remix of Chemical Brother's latest album, and also one of the better BB releases of the year.

Light, ravey, electro-disco with a similar euphoria to Vitalic's 'Second Lives' and thier own 'Domino'.

A slightly smaller update!

Got my hands on a few more highly essential songs this week, all but the last are real electro bangers that are going to be hard to miss this summer.

Starting off, this is quite easily the standout track from Don Rimini's latest EP: NLarge Your Parties.
Don Rimini - All About

Next up is Boys Noize's remix of The Chemical Brothers. What do you expect?

Chemical Brothers - Swoon (Boys Noize Summer Mix)

Another remix in the form of Soulwax X LCD Soundsystem. Another one I don't even need to think about evaluating. The only excuse you can have for not having heard of either group is that you are a newborn baby.

LCD Soundsystem - You Wanted a Hit (Soulwax Remix)

A while ago we featured Paul Chambers' latest track 'Yeah Techno!'. This is what happened when he met Shinichi.

Now I'm mildly embarrassed to be posting this, but then I love Mstrkrft, so it's quite hard not to...

Katy Perry - California Gurls (Mstrkrft Remix)

And another little bonus: a preview of Bart B More's latest tune 'Brap!' out soon on Boys Noize records.

And the final song...
This one is completely different to all previously. Fitting into the Tech House genre, with melodious piano loops, soft synths and ambient strings, it's hard not to like this on a quiet summers day.

Agoria - Grande Torino

One Big ol' Update!

Right, it's been a good couple of weeks since either of us posted anything, and for that I apologise. I've been fairly busy planning our trip to Exit this year, and Dom's got his final exam soon, but we'll both be posting like mad shortly.

This post is basically full of all the essential tunes of the last couple of weeks, all bundled into one update. They're all really electro/disco/house, not really any techno in this one. More individual posts coming soon.

Breakbot - Baby I'm Yours (Aeroplane Remix)

Darkens the original but keeps Aeroplane's disco vibe.

Ocelot - Beaking Hearts (Louis La Roche Remix)

More Louis = More Disco.

Proxy - Vibrate (Bloody Beetroots Remix)

Probably one of the weaker remixes on the EP, other than the Trance remix by Sound of Stereo...
Still filthy, however the original, Noob and SoS remixes are all, well, better.

Chemical Brothers - Horse Power

The British duo have done it again with their new album. Horse Power is a banger. Reminiscent of Erol Alkan and Boys Noize's Avalanche. No wonder it's in his chart this month then.

Evil Nine - Ultimo

Evil Nine unveil their new record label 'For Lovers' with this incredible track.

Felix Cartal - World Class Driver (Harvard Bass Remix)

Finally got this remix. I love Felix. I love Harvard Bass. Enough said.
