Sweat On The Walls is a Drum 'n' Bass free zone. Normally. Sometimes however, a producer comes along who despite their pigeonholing, I just have to acknowledge as brilliant. Instra:mental and his Autonomic partner in crime dBridge have been sending out shockwaves throughout the DnB scene of late, for one simple reason - they are slowing things down. They technically make Drum 'n' Bass, but at the pace of house music, which is perhaps why I am so fond of them and many old DnB heads aren't.


They currently hold a frequent Friday night residency at fabric and have also recently released the 50th fabriclive on the club's record label, which has been touted by many as one of the best fabriclive releases yet.

I like to call the pair's production style 'soulful Drum 'n' Bass', which may sound slightly absurd but this recent release from Intra:mental has soulful sounds all over it, whilst still technically DnB.
