I feel I had to pay tribute to one of my favourite producers right now, Vincent Belorgey, aka. Kavinsky, who recently released his fourth EP, 'Nightcall'.

Anyone who likes Kavinsky's retro-synth drenched electro will agree that he is underrated and often unfairly criticised for his unique production style. Ok it's reminiscent of old Jean-Claude Van Damme film soundtracks or arcade games, but that's exactly why we love him. It's fun, yet still brilliantly original. Chris and I have been a fan ever since his we heard his 1986 EP (and even more after we met him after a rare appearance in Bristol one night, when he was so pissed after his set taxis were turning him away), but Nightcall has deservedly received almost universal acclaim.

It features two original releases, as well as several excellent remixes, including this charged up adaption of the title track by Dustin N'Guyen.
